CHANGE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

In an environment where change is the “norm” and often radical, Real Leadership Associates offers guidance and facilitation as you navigate through constant, complex, change.

Real Leadership uses change models and principals to inform and invoke understanding of change so that individuals and teams understand:

  • what change means to them, their organizational and personal goals, and
  • the team’s changing role as well as,
  • their own part in the change.

The Real Leadership Approach

Essentially, we help you approach change in terms of how it can be leveraged for the best outcome; professional and personally as follows:

  1. By clearly defining the future state to be realized, the current state left behind and some organized process to travel from one to the other
  2. By repeating and reinforcing purpose
    1. Dealing with issues rather than individuals
    2. Boosting awareness so that everyone knows the purpose and nature of change
    3. Spreading knowledge – with directness and simplicity - to enable change for the better
  3. Establishing awareness of personal and company perspective, i.e., understanding the organizational goals and your own goals and determining how those paths intersect to define your part in the plan
  4. Building participation and engagement
    1. decoding resistance to change and
    2. treating resistance as feedback
  5. encouraging, questions and discussion from many points of view and different experiences

In short, our approach is direct and simple as well as systematic. It is designed to restore...

  • Predictability by communicating as much information as needed about what will happen and when
  • Understanding by explaining – over and over if necessary – why change is needed
  • Control by deconstructing a complex challenge into smaller “quick win” opportunities, and
  • Empathy through awareness of how change impacts individuals and teams within their world view.
